This is old news, but I feel compelled to reply to the statement that the tax holiday "is expected to cost the state hundreds of thousands of dollars". The tax holiday was brought to life by our Attorney General, Darrel McGraw, due to a law suit against Visa and MasterCard. Fraud being the issue, the settlement was for 11.6 million dollars to support the Energy Star Tax Holiday. This is a win for all WV residents with no negative effect on the State. Visit GoGreenMart&More.com and sign up for e-mail announcements as the tax holiday will be implemented again in 2009.
