A Washington county judge is considering motions in the trial of a man facing a laundry list of charges.

Jason Berecz is facing 17 total indictments. Three of those are attempted murder counts and five are for felonious assault.

The Washington county prosecutor's office says Thursday morning Judge Ed Lane heard two motions in the case.

One is to separate a trafficking in marijuana count from the rest of the indictments. The second motion is to change the location of the trial.

Judge Lane is considering the motions at this time. The prosecutor's office says there is no way of knowing when he will make a decision.
