A 22-year-old woman charged with murder was back in court Monday. Angela Wager appeared in Wood County Circuit Court for a hearing.
Judge Waters granted her lawyer's request for a psychological exam.
Attorney Joe Troisi says Wager has been hospitalized eight times in the last nine years at various mental health facilities.
"Her longstanding symptoms have included numerous instances of self-injury, including most graphically slashing of her own body, alcoholism and auditory hallucinations, hearing voices."
The Parkersburg woman is accused of killing Deborah Sue Bennet in January with a crow bar at an apartment complex on Spring Street.
Wager's trial is still scheduled to start August 1.
