An area college instructor is free on a personal recognizance bond Friday following an arrest Thursday on a charge of voyeurism.
The Marietta Police Department says 57-year-old Larry Robinson of Parkersburg was arrested at the Washington County Public Library, following an undercover operation at the library.
The undercover police operation was planned after a voyeurism complaint at the same library was filed by a woman earlier in the week.
During the operation that ensued, officers say Robinson followed the undercover female around the second floor book section. Officers say Robinson then positioned himself one book row away from her. He then allegedly laid down on the floor and used a small convex mirror to look up the woman's skirt.
The Marietta Police Department says Robinson is an instructor at Washington State Community College. Representatives from the college were not available for comment Friday.
The Marietta Police Department is asking that anyone who may have additional information on this case should call the department at (740) 373-4141.
