The Wood County Sheriff's Department is searching for a person that robbed a hotel at knife point early Saturday morning.

Officials say around 4:15 AM an unidentified person walked into the AmeriHost Inn in Mineral Wells, took out a knife, and demanded money from the clerk.

The clerk gave the robber cash and the person fled in unknown car.

The perpetrator was wearing a hoodie and sunglasses at the time.

Officials say they do not have any suspects at this time.
