A group of local doctors and lawyers battled it out on a baseball field in Vienna Sunday to help one little boy's wish come true.
These doctors and lawyers raised money in the Wood County Bar Association's Third Annual Charity Softball Game.
The money goes towards Tyler Willis' wish to receive a home spa to ease his back condition.
The Parkersburg boy suffers from a birth defect that requires multiple surgeries and has also resulted in multiple sclerosis.
"Make-A-Wish Foundation, Wood County Bar Association, our local doctors- we're here to raise money for a good cause," said Aaron Boone, president of the Wood County Bar Association.
"Oh it means a whole lot with Make-A-Wish helping out with getting him a hot tub. He really enjoys it," said Loretta Biles, Tyler Willis' mother.
Boone said if there is any money left it will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern West Virginia.
If you couldn't make it out Sunday, you can still send you charitable donation, payable to the "Make A Wish Foundation of Northern West Virginia," c/o Wood County Bar Association, P. O. Box 49, Parkersburg, WV, 26102.
