Closing arguments wrapped up Monday morning in the trial of a Washington County man accused of shooting an officer and holding police on an all night standoff.

Jason Berecz is facing 17 total indictments for the April incident. A jury began deliberations around Noon Monday.

WTAP has a reporter in the courtroom and we'll bring you the verdict on Berecz as soon as it comes down.
