Do better research before publishing propoganda. There is a major employer here in the area who just cut 39 permanent jobs affecting employees with more than ten years history with them. Our hearts go out to those affected. More responsible reporting would represent those same people better.

I'd like to know what high Mr.Burdette is on, perhaps his business friends are doing alright. Just drive around your city Mr.Burdette, you're not fooling anyone. Look at all the closures, even the used car lots have decreased. Cars aren't selling and your average worker in your district who used to make good money when our plants where still running are struggling just to make ends meet. There's more homes for sale in Wood County than any other county in West Virginia. You must thing we're stupid, everyone that I know are having a harder time than ever before. I've lived in this valley for over 30 years and now have to work 3 hours away to try to keep my home from foreclosure. Sure your friends are doing well, they should with their income!!!!
