Wood County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for two women wanted for Thursday's shoplifting incident.

Officials say they are looking for 24-year-old Bobby Sue Davis and 18-year-old Desiree Hickle, both of Belpre.

They are both wanted for malicious wounding after Thursday's incident at the Parkersburg Kohls.

Authorities say they allegedly stole several hundred dollars worth of merchandise.

When the store's loss prevention officer went outside to stop the women they hit the officer with their car injuring the officer's leg.

The store officer was treated and release from the hospital.

I'm constantly amazed at the level of discourse that people post here. The english is terrible.

I know Bobby Sue, on count of one of my friends. I have been posting on this, and none of my posts have been put up so far. The last that I had heard about Bobby Sue, is that she and a girl named DJ had fled to Kentucky, cause supposedly Bobby was going to get fixed up with a guy that lives down there. As far as what part of Kentucky, I haven't found out yet, but she was only gonna be gone for a week. And as to why the other posts haven't been put up, I haven't the slightest clue. I also feel for the LP who got hurt, and hope that everything will be fine on that side. I just hope that Bobby Sue comes to her sences, and possibly turns herself in, so maybe the law won't be as harsh with her, but then again knowing Bobby, I kinda figure that will be out of the story.

to friend of mother of lp-----get your mouth corrected. I have called in regards to the lady that got hit. I have called and made plenty of concerns about the entire situation. I guess you must be one of the people that claims to be a christian! I am just a sick over this as the mother of the lp and for you to run your mouth and not know the truth your a hipocrit living in a cracked glass house. get the entire story before making you statements. both girls will get there dues and have to face it all but until then lets all be real about this keep opinions to yourself and act like a lady/gentleman and keep your opinions to yourself. I will not waste anymore of my time reading any of the slander people have to say cause for people to do such a thing is cause they are bored with there own life and to busy in others. may god bless you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for your information I did find out about the LP and I do understand what her mother is going through so no one has any right to slander anyone. If ppl want to be judgemental then they should all go to school and be cops but I will say one thing I am very upset about what my daughter did and I am very upset about the gal that got hurt but until any of us hear the entire story from both sides then no one needs to make up stuff to make it worse then what it is. I recieved many calls cause ppl know me in the community very well and anyone who knows me knows that I do not put up with anything from anyone including my children and both them gals will get thier punishment in time. I am sorry for the lp and I have called in concern for her.

To the mothers of the girls: What are you talking about Ladies. Neither of you or any of the family members have a clue of what happened. Have any of you bothered to call Kohl's to find out if that girl is ok??? NO... Actually the LP's mother is sick over all of this. Those girls have her phone as well and my friend was unable to contact her daughter to find out if she was still alive. How would that make you feel??? I saw pictures of the LP and they aught to be lucky that, thats all that happened to her. They should pay your right and for a long time. It never should have went this far. They should have stopped the car when she hit the ground or not even have hit the gas in the first place. God was with that girl because if it would have been more, imagine what her children would have went through if they lost their mother to two shoplifters, yes that LP is a mother. So who's the morons now????

Posted by: Anonymous on Oct 11, 2008 at 09:15 PM
To(mother of one of the girls) thank you for calling in to the SO about your daughter but to your comment of how someone could stand that close to a moving vehicle well listen up. That LP was doing her job. Before everyone assumes what happened you aught to talk to the LP that was hurt first and get the full story. The LP didnt get her leg ran over. In fact Bobby Sue grabbed her by the back of the head while Desiree started the car and gave it the gas. They dragged her across the parking lot and when she was able to get away and let go, Desiree ran over her foot. If you could see what those girls did to her you would be appauled and the family should talk to their daughters about turning themselves in. They are making it worse. So before you call anyone morons you as a family member (mother) should talk to the one who is suffering and see how she feels and LOOKS. Its HORRIBLE and they are lucky that her head didnt get split open or they didnt run her whole body over.

Sounds to me like these two need some time to do some thinking (by themselves in a cell).

Posted by: wouldntu wanna no Location: marietta on Oct 11, 2008 at 12:07 PM
i say ...public humility....make them walk in front of the store saying they stole ...that will fix them and make them think twice next time ...and btw ..some of the blame? how bout all goes to the two that caused it? imagine that being held accountable? who would have thought?

When an individual intentionally operates a motor vehichle in a manner intending to harm another individual they are guilty of "Assault with a deadly weapon" and "attempted murder", and in this case if the total of their five finger discount was above $500.00 these charges are uppped to "during the commission of a felony" Fashionable clothing will not be needed where these two poor excuses for women are headed.Funny to think they will look like "Bozo the Clown" and an "Orange Bus" will be there fashion forward statement for a minimum of 5 years

Posted by: mother of one of the girls Location: marietta ohio on Oct 11, 2008 at 09:55 AM
For all you morons that want to leave ignorant comments about this and dont know the girls needs to shut up cause you are affecting the families tension. we are all infuriated with the kids but they are of age and will pay for thier faults. there was NO attempted murder and if anyone would stand that close to a moving vehicle then they will get hurt. DUH!!!! Stop playing judge and cops cause you dont know anything of the real situation. I am a very upset mother and for morons to post stupid comments over something they dont know then it just makes it worse for me. Put yourself in my shoes before you open that trap of a mouth. May the good lord bless all of those involved in running down my daughter.

Trust the SO on this one and the victim. These two will pay and all they will own is the orange jump suites that have on their back while sitting in a 3 wall room with bars on the 4th side... WCSO has done a great job and so has the other authorities. If it wasnt for them do you actually think that the footage would have been posted? Come on people. They are two scared little girls who are going to ruin their lives if someone doesnt talk some sense into turning themselves in. Oh and if yall think that this shoplifting stuff doesnt happen on a daily basis look around. Everyday there is someone, even your neighbor who is stealing from retailers not just because they dont have the money but mostly because its a rush. LP should be given a hands up for the money they save us by stopping shoplifters. This situation is a fluke and doesnt always happen this bad. U go girl!! way to hang in there.

I know Bobby Sue Davis, i went to school with her. She will NEVER learn her lesson. She is nothing but trouble. I hope she acutally gets what she needs. Sone REAL time to think about what she has done. But at the same time her family has never cared enough about her. So she always had to do something to get attention.

Posted by: Homer Location: Asspackistan on Oct 10, 2008 at 07:53 PM
What are you high rick? they will do just like the do to the rest of the crooks in this area a slap on the wrist at best. if they would start handing out punishment for the thieves in the area the non sense would stop so get tough judges make them pay!

Posted by: Rick Location: Wood Co. on Oct 10, 2008 at 06:02 PM
Let's see now... theft, escape from custody, ignoring traffic directions, flight from an officer of the law, resisting arrest, assault with a motor vehicle, attempted homicide, reckless driving, and elluding police. Shall we add harboring a criminal and conspiracy? Seems like these women are going to go up the river for a good long while!

For your information Loss Prevention Officers in the state of WV are in fact arresting officers, so they are law enforcement with in the stores. They can sign warrants and physically detain subjects. The whole "Raw video" is 3min 26 sec. So for a police department to have a response time of under 4min is almost impossible. Most companies only operate with 1 LP at a time maybe 2 if they're lucky. So more than likely the person moving the cameras is probably the LP that got hurt. You can not put any blame on Kohls that is just ignorant, you sound like some dumb redneck theif yourself. What next you want to blame smith and wesson for all the murders where a smith and wesson was used. So your theroy is that everytime someone steals that all the employees in the store should come help make the stop, yeah that makes so much sense. One person can stop 2 people at a time it's done all the time everyday in fact I say they can stop multiple people at a time even maybe a "dozen folks".

Posted by: helper on Oct 10, 2008 at 03:55 PM
actually, there is no way to have people outside waiting. By definition, it is not shoplifting until they walk past the "last station for making payment". Also, the loss prevention employee is excellant at her job.

Posted by: Wayne Location: Wood County on Oct 10, 2008 at 02:59 PM
If they catch these two, they will just get the "Conley / Wood County Slap on the Wrist", and have to give back their new sneakers that they stole.

Posted by: Anonymous on Oct 10, 2008 at 02:53 PM
My question is...why didn't Kohl's call the Police so that they could be outside waiting for them to come out. We all know that Loss Prevention Officers are just regular employees and not law enforcement. With all the folks that work at Kohl's, they could have had a dozen folks outside waiting. One person can not get two folks. Some of the blame needs to be given to Kohl's. You can bet that there were at least 3 or 4 employees watching the monitors as this was going down.

Posted by: Roger Location: BELPRE on Oct 10, 2008 at 01:12 PM
I can't believe these women didn't turn themselves in. I've never seen surveilance video that was as clear as Kohl's was. If other stores would upgrade their video systems to something with that good of image, all thefts would stop!
