Students have been hard at work for a few months now and now we're honoring one special stand-out student as a part of this months St. Joseph's Hospital Scholar Award.

Kyla Collins was nominated by her mom, Kelly, for the award.

Kyla is a Senior at Parkersburg South High School and was chosen as the recipient of the Scholar Award for her outstanding volunteerism in the community and for her academic work.

"I've been doing it since I was really little with 4H and at ARC, with my aunt, and with my church, but it came really easy to me. All you have to do is pick something you love doing and just do it," says Kyla Collins, Scholar Award Winner.
