You may have seen him on the TV show "So You Think You Can Dance" and Sunday Ivan Koumaev was in Parkersburg teaching hip hop classes.
Koumaev came in from New York to choreograph a dance for the Ohio Valley Dance Elite senior hip hop team.
Two years ago Koumaev made it to the bottom six of the show before he was voted off.
"The show is being a celebrity when you're a dancer which is unheard of because dancers don't get to be celebrities we dance as artists and it's cool to be a celebrity a little bit," said Koumaev.
Koumaev moved from Russia to the U.S. when he was 8 years old and started dancing when he was 12 years old.
Now he's 20 years old and traveling around the country teaching hip hop.
He says he hope to have his own show in the future.
