I am constantly amazed to see how poorly the general population in our area write. Misspellings, grammar, mis-use of words, and to top it all off... they insult each other's intelligence!

WTAP reports "Crowds Gather to See Palin" and CNN reports that only about 50 people gathered. There were 50 at the rest area, over 100 at the Farmers Market & Sweetapple, many more at the other stops.. equals hundreds.. Do you hate CNN too? How do you plan on watching Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Joe Biden's speech? I'm not....

Hmm, Obama is a Millionaire too. He has more money than McCain/Palin combined. Made it all by being a 'poor' Democrat? Right. Vote on Issues People. Conservative or Liberal - The Rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer, and no matter who is elected, they are not going to change things that will cost their own family to lose money, or live a lesser lifestyle. Know why Wal-Marts are located near the interstate? To make it easier to haul the truckloads of money out of state, and then out of the country. (with our jobs and our future, while making some big fish rich.) We are poor because WE choose to give our money to out of town and overseas companies, that then use the money to buy up the gas and oil, further digging our own hole. It isn't about being Republican or Democrat.

CITIZEN-You are right about an opinion and I find it great that you and I can have this dialouge even though we're not going to agree. The fact of the matter is people are wrapped up with media hype! Why do you find it "neat" to meet a politican? A person who could care less about you. Do you believe for a minute she's a soccer mom, she holds an office that 50 out of 290 million Americans do. She is an elitest! Are you a millionaire? She is. I hope that on election day you don't vote for Mcain-Palin thinking you relate to Sarah Palin, because chances are she would walk right over you if you stood in her ambitious path. If you relate to the republican ticket that is fine, if you want a ticket you can relate to even better look at the Libertarian Party (www.lp.org). As far as Sodom and Gomorrah this idea is paralleled in the Gospels when Jesus compares an inhospitable reception to Sodom, plus I thought it rhymed nicely with America is great not no more, Have a good day Citizen

Jeremy -- Not sure what Sodom & Gomorrah have to do with Sarah Palin, but everyone is entitled to there opinion -- that is the great part of America, freedom. Last time I checked, we still have the ability to think for ourselves and do what we want. Whether you support the McCain/Palin campaign or not, it would have been neat to have met her. She could be the future Vice-President of the United States of America. Stop over analyzing everything and enjoy life a little.

It is a sad state of affair when eyewear and shoes sales go up , because a politican is wearing them! When people camp out too possibly see a poltician, you people are a bunch of jokers and half the problem with America! Maybe you should vote for a canidate with some substance to their speeches, not a Gop cheerleader. America was great not no more,no different than Sodom and Gomorrah!
