If, "My restaurant is cleaner were not emptying ashtrays every two seconds" I am very glad I never ate in such a filthy place because you surely never had time to properly wash your hands in the 1 second in between emptying all those ashtrays. It is a wonder the health dept hasn't shut the place down on that comment alone.
IT HURTS MY HEAD TO HEAR YOU SHOUT! I'M JUST GOING TO SKIP ANYTHING YOU RANT ABOUT, DON? GOT THE MESSAGE????!@@!@@
I have little sympathy for people who choose to become adicted to cigs. What? You say you had no choice? How's that? Were you exposed to it at home? Did you see advertising that convinced you it was cool? Or did you have to hack and coff until you could tolerate it in some twisted thinking that it would make you look "adult"? Now,you're hooked, and you think you should have some special den where you can hang out with other adicts? They call those opium dens in other countries.
Smoking ban means it is against the law to use or permit a legal product on 'private' property. Is this the American way?? Incidently, smoke from tobacco is a statistically insignificant health risk http://smokersclubinc.com http://pasan.thetruthisalie.com
WHEN ARE YOU FOLKS GOING TO UNDERSTAND THAT THESE OFFICIALS THAT MADE THIS DECISION ARE NOT ELECTED OFFICIALS THEY ARE APPOINTED OFFICIALS AT A STROKE OF A PEN TO CHANGE THE WAY YOU DO BUISNESS IS WRONG THIS WORD IS (DICTATORSHIP) WE AT MOUNTAINEER HAD A REGULATED ROOM THAT BENEFITED THE NON SMOKERS AND SMOKERS. AND WHAT MAKES BINGO HALLS A STEP ABOVE NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.SECOND HAND SMOKE IS SECOND HAND SMOKE REGARDLESS WHERE IT IS AT.LETS FACE IT ALOT OF PEOPLE THAT PLAYS BINGO ARE ELDERLY PEOPLE THAT PROBABLY HAVE HEALTH ISSUES ALREADY THEN PUT THEM A SMOKE FILLED ROOM.YEA HERE IS YOUR SIGN.WHAT I AM WAITING ON IS WHEN THE STATE OF WV IS GOING TO STEP IN SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.BECAUSE NOW YOU CAN'T SMOKE IN VIDEO LOTTERY ROOMS NOW YOU ARE STEPPING ON THE STATES TOES.THIS DECISION ON THE MOVHD IS AFFECTING OUR BUISNESS THAT I HAVE RAN FOR ALMOST 23 SALES ARE DOWN AND THAT MEANS TIPS ARE DOWN FOR MY WAITRESSES WE HAVE SUFFERED ENOUGH FROM THE CORRIDOR D PROJECT
What do people go to bars for? They go to have a drink and smoke.I belive that bars are drinking and smoking. I belive you should have the right to smoke in the bars. If you don't like it stay out!!!!!!!!!
Karen, How sad I am that you can't provide for your family. Too bad that you didn't see the handwriting on the wall that this has been coming for more than 40 years.... Every step of the way has been publicized, every step held public hearings, every step has been supported by the health industry. If your bar business is way off, perhaps you needed to be adding some other attraction before the big smoke out! This is the free-market system... let the market forces determine who stays in business and who drops out: That's the GOOD OL' AMERICAN WAY, remember? Again, sorry you didn't see and prepare for this obvious train coming down the tracks at you. At least the rest of us will be a measure of more healthy as a result. PS: I never went to bars because of the smoke and because of the atmosphere inside...(and I don't mean the smoke!)
Too bad Karen. At least my clothes don't smell when I go to a bar now. And I won't get second hand smoke or cancer from someone else. And I don't know what business you own, but it was unhealthy to have workers in that enivronment. I hope my kids didn't work for you.
Karen, I feel your pain. But sometimes the end justifies the means. Jobs were lost when led pain factories were closed, but it was the right move. It's like the people in the coal industry. I feel badly that they have to lose their job, but if they're not producing clean coal, we all suffer.
Thanks to the no smoking. My businss is way down.Where are all the people that were complaining that they can't go to bars because of the SMOKING.Thank you for putting me out of a way to support my family
