A morning commute turned into a scary situation for a Walker, West Virginia man.
Ohio State Highway Patrol Sergeant Todd McDonald says Richard Monroe was turning southbound on State Route 7 from County Road 10 and noticed something was wrong with his car.
Monroe quickly pulled over, got out of the car and the vehicle went up in flames.
Sgt. McDonald says Monroe attempted to put the flames out with snow before firefighters arrived on the scene.
Firefighters got the blaze under control within minutes.
No one was injured.
Officials believe an electrical malfunction caused the blaze.
