The search for a new school superintendent in Pleasants County has been narrowed to two finalists.
The Board of Education met in special executive session to interview the two Tuesday night.
An unexpected resignation by the former superintendent created a speedy selection process to narrow eight candidates down to two.
"The finalists are, Mr. Ed Toman, who is the former superintendent in Wirt County, and now the Superintendent for Gilmer County.... and also Dr. Joe Super, assistant superintendent for Randolph County," explains Director of WV School Board Association Harold O'Cull. "These are the individuals being interviewed this evening."
The public will get their chance to ask questions of the finalists individually Wednesday at 7 pm at the St. Marys High School Auditorium.
The public is encouraged to attend Wednesday night's forum and ask questions.
