Two Massillon, Ohio residents, who are staying in New Matamoras, suffered carbon monoxide poisoning overnight, while they were sleeping.

Lester and Jean Powell are building a log home in New Matamoras.

During the construction of the home, they're residing in a camper which is located in a large garage.

The garage was heated by a space heater and the camper by propane.

Friday morning, a friend found them semi-conscious.

The Powells were transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital, they are in stable condition and under evaluation.

The Powells did not have a carbon monoxide detector.
