WVU-P Awarded $219,000 To Develop Program

West Virginia University at Parkersburg has come into a bit of money to develop a certificate in Process Technology program for it's students.
The West Virginia Council for Community and Technical College Education has awarded WVU-P $219,000 to start the program.
It's designed to prepare students as process technicians in the chemical, oil and gas, and power generation industries.
The grant funds will be used for faculty, equipment, and supplies and curricular development.
It's expected the to be in place for the Fall 2009 semester.
