Monday is the day when buckeye fans show their true colors, scarlett and grey. Many spent the day stocking up on the essentials for the big game. The Save A Lot in Marietta is having to restock it's shelves to accommodate all the hungry buckeyes.
Save A Lot manager, Herman Shotwell talks about the increase of customers, "Anytime we know there is an event coming up we can get prepared for it we will buy extra to cover it. And also try to buy extra sale items."
Taking advantage of the good sales is long time buckeye fans John Lowery and Zetta Weaver.
Save A Lot shopper Zetta Weaver says, "I bought some stuff over the weekend, I'm buying a few extra things to go with dinner tonight for the game."
While shoppers enjoy the deals workers enjoy the spirit fans bring into the store.
Shotwell, " People talk about it everybody has their own opinion its a lot of fun."
Still in the need to buy supplies? The Save A Lot in Marietta is continuing its sales till 9 PM tonight.
