Two Washington County elementary schools that were closed last spring could remain vacant for a little longer.
Warren local school's superintendent Tom Gibbs says the buildings that were once Cutler and Bartlett schools will not be used by the school system.
A resolution was passed in December authorizing an auction for the buildings.
Now, the next step is to have the appraisal, then pass a resolution on whether or not to sell to the highest bidder.
No word yet on when the appraisal will take place.
