My thoughts are with you, Americas Styrenics (formerly Chevron Chemical) in Marietta announced lay off of 60 workers in the next few months which is 1/2 the work force at that plant. Look out Ohio Valley, it appears this area is on the hit list.
Our Thoughts and Prayers to the Familys at Century as well as the familys of laid off workers in wood county.Lets hope the powers to be can come together on an agreement. The Lord willing it will be all worked out we can get through this down turn in America.
Thank you Kay, on behalf of all the employees. Sorry to hear of your husband's lay off, hope it is only temporary and we can all get through these tough times.
Good luck to the employees there. My husband just lost his job today, as well as a few other guys who got laid off today, at Danser, Inc. And I hear that Singer Sheet Metal is laying off too. So evidently, Wood County is now starting to get hit.
