Wednesday officers from several surrounding counties participated in a drug sweep of Williamstown High School.

Officers used trained K 9's to check lockers, athletic facilities, and vehicles in the parking lots.

According to Williamstown High School's principal there were eleven hits but no drugs were indicated on the campus.

Chief Deputy of Wood County's Sheriffs Office Don Dougherty says, "Nothing was located in the school this time. It also encourages participation and coordination among the various agencies here."

Williamstown High School Principal Pat Peters was pleased with the results, "It's great not finding anything. And also it's preventative, it let's the kids know were out there trying to stop it there are doing something and we are out there aggressively looking for it."
