Washington County Sheriff's officials need your help to find an assault suspect.

Authorities are looking for 36-year-old Calvin Martin.

They say Martin hit his girlfriend in the head last night with an assault rifle at their New Matamoras home and fled the residence armed with a handgun.

Officials have issued a warrant for Martin for felonious assault. They are continuing to search for him Wednesday afternoon.
