A Parkersburg man has been arrested for trying to solicit a 14-year-old through the Internet.
38-year-old James Jarrell was arrested Wednesday after the juvenile talked to a counselor at school and police were notified.
Jarrell was arraigned Wednesday afternoon and charged with soliciting a minor via computer.
Police say the felony charge carries a two-to-ten year sentence in jail. Jarrell's bond was set at $25,000 dollars.
Parkersburg police detective F.C. Holliday says more charges are pending against Jarrell.
A press conference on the case is scheduled for 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
