The Republican Party suffered one of the worst election seasons ever.
The GOP says it is now planning to start rebuilding the party.
West Virginia's Executive Director of the Republican Party, Gary Abernathy, says he's determined to help the party grow.
Abernathy says getting volunteers and fundraising are the biggest issues facing the party.
He says one of his goals is to increase the number of volunteers.
Abernathy says, "The party is built on the number of volunteers."
Abernathy says so far the West Virginia Republican Party has raised
approximately $30,000.
