Washington Co. Residents Without Power
WTAP News Nine hundred Beverly residents are still without power this evening after a morning accident.

As of 6:45 PM Monday:
Nine hundred Beverly residents are still without power this evening after a morning accident.
It happened around 10:15 at the intersection of State route 60 and Fifth Street in Beverly.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says John Shriver of Coal Run was heading south on Route 60 when he lost control and slammed into this telephone pole.
He was cited for failure to control his vehicle.
Twelve hundred Beverly and Dexter City residents lost power.
Power has been fully restored to Dexter City.
AEP estimates all Beverly residents should have power by 8 PM tonight.

AEP Ohio is reporting 900 Washington County residents are still without power.

As of 11:00 AM:
Nearly 1,200 Washington County AEP OHIO electric customers are without power this morning.
AEP OH Spokesman Jeff Rennie says a vehicle accident took out a power pole in Beverly Monday morning.
Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks says a pickup truck knocked over a power pole on 5th Street in Beverly.
The pole contained 2 circuits and several transformers.
Affected customers are in Beverly (900 customers) and Dexter City (300 customers).
Rennie says estimated restoration times are as follows:
Dexter City: 12:00 PM
Beverly (400 customers): 2:00 PM
Beverly (remaining customers): 6:00 PM

Nearly 1,200 Washington County AEP OHIO electric customers are without power this morning.
We are waiting on AEP to call us back with the cause and estimated restoration time.
