A day-long fair at the Grand Central Mall focused on enhancing careers.
The annual career fair was sponsored by Workforce, West Virginia, and showcased a variety of employers.
Recent statistics say the job market is improving, but now, people are seeking more than just employment.
"If you already have a job, you might be looking for a better job," says Cheryl McHugh, Employer Representative for Workforce West Virginia. "You might want to go back to school and further your education, to get that better job. That's why people may be looking for jobs still."
W.T.A.P. was among the local employers with a booth at the fair. Others included the Bureau of Public Debt and two local hospitals.
