A principal in Mason County has resigned after being charged with several different sex crimes.
59-year-old David Graham of Pomeroy, Ohio turned himself in to the West Virginia State Police after charges were filed Tuesday stemming from an alleged crime that happened more than 20 years ago.
Graham was the principal at Wahama High School in Mason County, until he resigned last Wednesday.
He's facing several felony charges, including sexual assault and sexual abuse.
State Police officials say the incident happened between June 8, 1986 and June 14, 1986.
The alleged victim was a juvenile boy.
Graham was not a principal at the time, however, he worked in education.
Graham is out on bond under the condition he is to have no contact with the alleged victim.
