A Ritchie County man was still being assessed in the emergency room Saturday night after an ATV accident.
Eastwood volunteer firefighters say a 29-year-old man from Petroleum, West Virginia was in an ATV accident in Macfarlan Saturday.
Responders say around 7:20 p.m. people were driving the Ritchie County man to get to a hospital in Wood County and called 911.
That's when the dispatcher arranged for an ambulance to meet them at the fire department on Route 47 in Davisville.
Responders say he was talking and answering questions then.
The man's name has not been released.
