Youngsters at Blennerhassett Elementary School Wednesday took a final walk with a special guest.
Throughout the year, the students walked a portion of the 19-mile equivalent distance from Blennerhassett to Williamstown Elementary School to promote healthy lifestyles.
Wednesday, they were joined by Ronald McDonald for their final walk of the school year.
And Ronald didn't come empty-handed...he brought along fruit and yogurt parfaits for everyone.
All of the students, who measured their distance with pedometers, met the school's walking goal.
The program was sponsored by the McDonald's and Wal-Mart stores in south Parkersburg.
