The Wood County Sheriffs Office is trying to find out why a plane, just back from the Jackson County Airport, has a bullet hole on the wing.
Officials say a Cessna 172 aircraft left the Mid-Ohio Valley on May 31st and completed a round trip flight to the Jackson County Airport, in Ravenswood and back.
When the plane returned, airport officials discovered a bullet hole on the wing.
The bullet hole has already been patched.
Since it's a federal offense, Wood County Sheriff's officials say the case will most likely be turned over to the F.B.I.
Any person with information is asked to contact the Wood or Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
