Ritchie County Dispatchers tell WTAP that a child was hit by a vehicle Monday morning in Harrisville.
The accident happened around 8:15 a.m.
Dispatchers say the child was taken by helicopter to the hospital.

The Harrisville Police and Fire Departments responded, as well as the Ritchie County EMS.
