It won't be hard to see cultures from around the world this weekend at Parkersburg City Park.
The 14th annual Multi-Cultural Festival kicked off Friday night with a variety of cultures represented.
The performances ranged from Albanian Gypsy music to Middle Eastern dance and then to classic 70's rock but the cuisine available from vendors goes around the world too.
Peter Baker of Sneaky Peat Irish BBQ said "(Today) I'm part of your multicultural society now being Irish. Irish extract with a little African in me. I actually teach you guys how to barbecue."
Raj Kumar from the Star of India Restaurant in Vienna said "There's a lot of people probably in West Virginia they haven't tried our food yet but hopefully they will try it today and see if they like it or not."
The Multi-Cultural Festival continues in City Park until 11 pm Saturday and until 8 pm Sunday.
WTAP personalities will be introducing performers all weekend long, so stop by and say hi.
