Burning Brush Heavily Damages Parkersburg House

Burning brush is being blamed for a fire that broke out around noon Wednesday at a house in the 2100 block of 12th Avenue in Parkersburg.
City firefighters quickly brought the fire under control at the house of David Dowler. The fire did spread fast enough to cause heavy damage to the structure and most of its contents.
No one was injured.
