Construction is moving right along on the Washington Street Bridge in Marietta.
The bridge has been closed for about three weeks, and Ohio Department of Transportation Public Information Officer David Rose says 'so far, so good.'
Rose says crews spent the day Friday doing a dry-run of the concrete deck pouring, which will happen Tuesday.
"Anytime you handle lots of equipment with many parts on it, things can break down. And so, it's better to do that now instead of waiting until you're about to pour and find out that there's a problem that will put things behind, so we're just trying to be proactive right now," Rose said.
Rose says the project is on schedule and is expected to be finished before its completion date of August 17.
