Charles Jackson of Mineral Wells was listed in good condition at Ruby Memorial Hospital Monday night.
Police said 19-year-old Christopher Browning of Vienna had been drinking, took a sharp turn on Garfield Avenue in Parkersburg too fast, lost control, and drove his car into a guardrail landing just before the intersection with Ann Street.
Police said 19-year-old Nathanial Day of Parkersburg was sitting in the front passenger seat and died at the scene.
Jackson, who was another passenger, was reportedly sitting in the back seat and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver, Browning, has been charged with one count of DUI causing death.
Police Chief Gerald Board said where the alcohol came from is still under investigation and the blood test results of Browning's blood alcohol content is unavailable until it goes to court.
