Two people are in critical condition Wednesday after an altercation and stabbing in Little Hocking Tuesday night.
Athens County Sheriff Patrick Kelly says the stabbing happened just before 10:30 Tuesday night at a home on Houston Road in Little Hocking.
Officials say the incident began when 33-year-old Joel Crites of Charleston came to the home looking for 48-year-old Michelle Carsner.
51-year-old Daniel Carsner says he stabbed Crites when an altercation broke out.
Daniel Carsner has been charged with felonious assault and is behind bars at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail Wednesday.
Officials say Crites is in critical condition at a West Virginia hospital. Michelle Carsner also suffered cuts to her arm during the altercation and was taken to a West Virginia hospital. Officials say she is in critical condition as well.
