After over a year of construction employees of Mountain State Blue Cross Blue Shield in Parkersburg are moving into their new offices.
Executives started moving into their offices this week and the hundreds of other employees are expected to move in next week to the new building on Market Street.
Workers have been coming in throughout the week to see the new open layout with four floors.
"We also have had employees in three other offices in downtown Parkersburg again creating additional inefficencies. this new building having everyone under one roof will allow us to have departments placed closer together where they need to operate," said president, Fred Earley.
The project cost about 27 million dollars. Earley said the building next door will be for sale and there has been talk about making the top floors into apartments.
