Thank you for everyone's support. I realy hope to go and be able to march with the Macy's Great American Marching Band. I am also hoping that Mom & Dad get to go. They have never missed any of my performances.

Andrew Kirk, I was very pleased to see you monday night. I wanted to congradulate you in person, but was not able to get to you. I am very excited to have you represent our great state. Perhaps sometime we can do something together to help young talent like yourself to keep the MUSIC inour heart's and lives. Congratulations on your wonderful accomplishment. My Mother ,sister and I agree your just the cutest thing and we are so very proud of you. Hope to see you real soon.

A fund has been set up in Kirk's name at United Banks across the state to help send him to the Big Apple. If there is any money left over Kirk says it will go into a scholarship fund to help give other students this opportunity in the future. There can be no scholorship unless the community steps up and starts donating to the fund. This young man has worked very hard to earn this oppertunity of a life time, please community lets step up and send him to New York. Even if it's five or ten dollars every little bit adds up. Thank you!

We have sent out letters with pictures to West Virginia dignitaries including Gov. Manchin. We received a very nice acknowledgement letter back from Gov Manchin, as well as some others. I am sorry that you did not receive a reply back from him.

Congratulations, I was so excited that this young man was going to represent WV in the Macy's Parade that I wrote both Governer Joe Manchin and Gale about this, Wow a week has gone by and no email or acknowledgement I think this is a shame and shows just what kind of support West Virgians really have from their State Government!
