A large crowd gathered at Bicentennial Park in downtown Parkersburg Saturday afternoon to celebrate the United States' birthday.
Organizer of the Parkersburg TEA Party, Sandy Staats, said the group rallied Saturday to preserve family values, the U.S. Constitution, and God in the United States.
Staats said this organization is a non-partisan group.
"We're just Americans. There's people from every party here and we're just Americans celebrating being American and being free," said Staats.
Towards the end of the rally people from the audience got up on stage to express their views on the state of the country.
