Why isn't 38 Special listed on the Homecomings website?

Well did you know that Jackson County has more stuff going on during the 4th than Parkersburg has during the homecoming and that is pretty pathetic cause Parkersburg is a bigger city than Jackson County. Plus if money is such a big issue charge a small boothing fee that way Parkersburg can put that money away for the next homecoming and let crafters come in a sell there stuff who cares if some people think its like a flee market at least there would be more things to see and do, and there should be more things for the kids to do. Yes who wouldn't want see 38 Special I love there music but there should more to do than just here music.

When I was down there it was like a flea market, I hate it when they have these festivals and you have about 10 tents with people selling T shirts and trinkets,it is like a fair you, seen one you seen them all.

WELL FIRST OF ALL I WOULD LIKE TO THANK SUDDENLINK FOR STEPPING UP AND HELPING PROVIDE SOME TOP NOTCH ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE HOMECOMING.I HAVE SEEN 38 SPECIAL A COUPLE TIMES BEFORE AND THEY PUT ON AN EXCELLENT SHOW.I ALSO HAVE TO AGREE WITH LITA ABOUT WHATS BEEN AVAILABLE THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS,SEEMS LIKES IT GETS LESS AND LESS TO DO.I ALSO REALIZE THEY ARE SOME WHAT LIMITED WITH SPACE FOR EVENTS,WHICH LEADS TO NEEDING A CIVIC CENTER/EVENTS CENTER FOR THIS AREA.ALSO ANOTHER IDEA IS TO UTILIZE FORT BOREMAN PARK WITH SOME EVENTS ESPECIALLY PRIOR TO THE FIREWORKS.WHY NOT SET UP A STAGE AND MAYBE HAVE SOME LOCAL BANDS ENTERTAIN FOR A COUPLE HOURS AND ALSO PROVIDE SOME CONCESSIONS FOR PEOPLE WATCHING THE FIREWORKS FROM THERE.I WAS AT FORT BOREMAN FOR FIREWORKS LAST YEAR AND NOTHING THERE TO EAT OR DRINK........POSSIBLY PROCEEDS COULD GO TOWARDS THE HOMECOMING,GRANTED NOT ALOT OF MONEY BUT EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS

I agree with Lita Simms. Have more things do do and see. It seems to me all there is downtown is food stations. More crafters, etc. is needed!

I have the same question anyone know if the homecoming will be downtown i heard rumors of city park

Hello this is just my opinion I think that the homecoming would bring more people if there was a little more to do or see. I think if there was more like crafters or local artists booths to see and more better entertainment than just singing competions better food choices. Maybe a small carnival for the kids. Every year there hasn't been much to do. The place where ever you all decide to have it should be packed full of things to do stuff of what Parkersburg is made of artists, singers, crafters, Historical stuff of Parkersburg, Food cook offs, games for kids, entertainment for kids. I think that if you have some of this stuff you WILL have a better turn out than you did last year or the year befor that. Thanks for listning.
