The Ohio River along Marietta will be a busy spot this weekend as the Riverfront Roar brings thousands of boaters into town.
The opening ceremonies are Saturday, but events will kick off Friday evening with live music.
The boat races will take place throughout Saturday and Sunday, and organizers say its an event for the whole family.
"Over the years it has grown from boat racing into a community event where there's something for everyone," Wendy Wharff, executive director of the Convention and Visitor's Bureau, said.
