Michael Jackson has been in the headlines for a couple of weeks now, and no doubt his memorial service will go down in history.
A local family has been hearing all the details of the service from one of their own who was at the event.
Heather Hope-Allison's family lives in Marietta, and couldn't believe she was able to get her hands on two floor seat tickets.
"When we realized they were bringing him in, everybody including myself, we burst into tears. It was just a really shocking personal reaction to somebody you didn't really know personally," Hope-Allison said.
She says she grew up listening and dancing to Michael Jackson's music, and compared being at his memorial service to saying goodbye to her childhood.
