WTAP News A former Parkersburg City Councilman...who passed away earlier in the week...was laid to rest Thursday.

A former Parkersburg City Councilman...who passed away earlier this week...was laid to rest today.
Burial for Demosthenes "Demo" Dukas was held at Mount Olivet cemetery Thursday afternoon...after funeral services in Leavitt Funeral Home.
Dukas was remembered by most for his more than ten years as a member of city council...but, for many years, he was a businessman and a civic leader as well.
Dukas died early Monday at the age of 78.
