Three Vehicle Accident on State Route 60

A three vehicle accident on State Route 60 and 821 in Marietta not only slowed down traffic Saturday afternoon, but also sent one person to the hospital.
The accident occurred around 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
63-year-old Judith Snodgrass was taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital where later she was treated and released.
Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said that the accident occurred when a driver followed too closely and hit the vehicle in front of them.
Devola Volunteer Fire Fighters that responded to the accident want to encourage the public to be careful on the heavily traveled road.
"Always slow down and keep an eye out for other vehicles in front of you. That's our biggest problem here on this road, " said Lt. Bobby Roseberry with the Devola Vol. Fire Department.
Trooper Coy Lehman with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said that Tina Schultheisz was cited in the accident for following to closely.
