Three Men Escape from Meigs Co. Jail, One Man Still on the Run

Authorities said three men escaped from the Meigs County Jail early Sunday morning and one man is still at large.
According to the Meigs County Sheriff's Office, between about 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. the three men escaped through a fire door of the jail and ran away.
Officers said the three men are James Garnes of Pomeroy, Buford Smallwood of Middleport, and Timothy Wickersham of Racine.
The sheriff's office reports Smallwood was captured at a residence in Middleport and Garnes turned himself in but authorities are still looking for Wickersham.
Officers said Wickersham is 29 years old with blue eyes and blond hair. Authorities said Wickersham weighs 160 pounds and is 6 feet tall.
Anyone with any information as to Wickersham’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Meigs County Sheriff's Office at 740-992-3371.
