The Meigs County Sheriff's Department is at the scene of a robbery at Farmer's Bank in Tuppers Plains.
Special Agent Michael Brooks, of the FBI's office in Cincinnati, says a young white male entered the bank shortly before noon Tuesday, claiming he had an explosive device in a paper bag, and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.
Agent Brooks says the man had short, cropped hair and was completely dressed in black, including a hooded sweatshirt.
The FBI and the Meigs County Sheriff's Department are investigating the holdup.
