A 70-year-old woman was injured Monday morning in an accident on WV Route 2 in Pleasants County, near the Wood County line.

Name of the person injured is 70-year old Naomi Keith of St. Marys.

A 70-year-old woman was injured Monday morning in an accident on WV Route 2 in Pleasants County, near the Wood County line.

Authorities say the single-vehicle accident occurred around 9:30 am. The driver's vehicle left the road, flipped and landed in a ditch.

No one else was in the vehicle.

The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital. Her condition is not known.
