It's a fall tradition in Pleasants County...this year's Oktoberfest was held today at Pleasants County Middle School.
Hundreds of crafters set up their booths to show their items...ranging from quilts to food for the 14th annual event.
And with the early part of the day being a bit on the cool side...the folks behind the booths were doing plenty of business.
"Last night was kind of rough setting up in the rain, getting everyone's stuff inside," said vendor Diana Goddard. "But it's always a real good show up here."
"I'm from New Martinsville," said Frances Caldwell. "It's my first time up here, and it's really done well."
The proceeds from this year's Oktoberfest will go to the middle chool's eighth-grade class...which is planning a class trip this spring to the nation's capitol.
