Two Parkersburg men appeared in Federal Court Thursday on separate federal drug charges.
32-year old David Charles Paul was sentenced to seven years in prison for distributing cocaine.
Back in July, Paul pleaded guilty to charges stemming from an investigation by the Parkersburg Narcotics and Violent Crimes Task Force.
Police say they made controlled buys from Paul at his residence in early 2009.
A search warrant of the home turned up more than 100 grams of cocaine, marijuana, other drug paraphernalia and two fire arms.
Also Thursday, 32-year old Kurt Edward Allen of Parkersburg pleaded guilty to cocaine distribution.
Court documents claim that Allen sold drugs to an informant with the Parkersburg Narcotics and Violent Crime Task Force in October of 2008.
Allen admitted to being part of a drug trafficking ring operating in and around Parkersburg and the Zanesville area.
