Issues And Candidates
WTAP News It wouldn't be November if there wasn't an election somewhere...and Ohio has some big issues...and some local candidates on ballots.

There are also a few candidates...but money issues top the matters people seem to be interested in the most in Washington County's general election Tuesday.
And topping that list is school levies.
While Marietta's levy and bond issue has been discussed the most...Belpre City and Frontier Local Schools have levies on the ballot as well.
The difference is that the Belpre and Frontier issues are renewals of existing levies.
Local options...essentially requests to sell alcohol in communities where that currently isn't allowed...are before voters in some parts of Belpre and Little Hocking.
Election officials believe those issues are what have been attracting people for early and absentee voting.
"Since (last) Monday, we've voted 1200 more people, so every day has been very busy," says elections director Peggy Byers. "That's the mail-ins (absentee voters) and the people (early voting) walking in off the street."
There are also candidates...especially in Marietta and Belpre, where the city councils and some city officials' offices are up for reelection.
The mayor's offices, however, won't be contested for another two years.
And all of the county's boards of education have seats up for election in Tuesday's elections.
